HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Hi hi! Yi ping here! haven't been blogging because i was very busy and also lazy to blog during the holidays. Busy with what? Homework and outings...
Anyway, went out today for a new year's eve /new year celebration. Meet guys and pvc at je in the morning, then went to orchard. We had breakfast first, walked for a while then separated.
The guys went to the Dhoby Gauht arcade to DDR and silent hill while the girls went walking around. At about 5pm, we met again at Raffles and then went together to Delvin's house for a party.
Here comes the fun part of the day...
Started off by helping to set up the bbq pit...lol i only helped by carrying the table and then playing bridge with the girls (helping to entertain guests is also counted as helping out=P). The guys did the most of the setting up and cooking at first. Then after a while, everyone took part in the bbqing. Lots of smoke! My eyes were stinging like mad but we can chi de qi qu (eat bitter). So most of us endured till the end at the pit...at the end the smoke was not so bad.
Then the best part...BLACKJACK!
Del, sm and me sat in our Tou Ming Zhuang position for the game (Special seating arrangement for winning). Started off by betting 50 cents...then to $1. Won about $4, then decided to pool money with Del to play as one player. We risked all the way by betting $2 for all games. Starting was bad but at the end...HOO! Blackjacked a few times and got $4 each time. Stole quite a few chickens too. At the end total winnings was about $10-$11 for each of us. Halfway through the blackjack game we had a COUNTDOWN! 5,4,3,2,1 HAPPY NEW YEAR! HUAT AH!
Left Del's house at around 1am. His dad drove us home. Thank you! Halfway through the journey something very unexpected happened. BOOM! Car accident right in front of our eyes! A lorry crashed into a car. Even though the car was badly damaged, thankfully no one was hurt.
Since it was new year...we took down the plate number of the two vehicles and guess what? Haha! Getting someone to buy 4D for us! Hope we win! -End-

Now for more serious stuffs...NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS HOO!
1. Get better results! For all tests and especially A levels! Felt that i did not give my best in studying this year, thats why my results suck. ABBBDD and the 'D's were for Maths and Chemistry, two VERY important subjects. I'M NOT GOING TO SCREW UP NEXT YEAR!
2.Be a better person. Don't really know how to describe the point much.
3.Save more money.
4.Better sleeping habits. Slept at 3 to 4 am and woke up at around 3 to 5 pm during the holidays. Wasted so much time sleeping!
